We build safety
for our workforce and clients.
Zero-Accident Construction is one of the values that drive our company to success. We consistently perform to the safety, housekeeping, quality and project controls standards of our clients. Our constant, well below industry average injury and accident record is a testament of our solid, proactive, comprehensive safety program we provide our workforce, our clients and our community.
Aireko’s leadership recognizes the responsibility to provide a clean, safe and healthy workplace free of hazardous conditions and behaviors in compliance with federal, state and local safety regulations. We reinforce our Environmental, Health and Safety policies well beyond OSHA government standards by implementing project specific adminstrative policies and procedures for each Aireko construction operation, and we continually evaluate, train, and reward our field leader behavior to limit the occurence of work-related accidents and illnesses.
Aireko has been a recipient of the award for excellence in health and occupational safety since 1997- year when the Associated General Contractors of Puerto Rico started recognizing construction firms for safety leadership. We are also the first contractor in Puerto Rico to receive a “Gold Partner” Certificate from the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) for its leading occupational safety program.
